Since firmware version v2.43 two-axis gimbals are officially supported by the STorM32 controller.

Some general points:

  • The unused motor axis must be disabled, i.e. the corresponding Pitch Motor Usage, Roll Motor Usage or Yaw Motor Usage parameter in the [GUI:Setup] tab must be set to {{PARAMVALUE|disabled}.
  • A 2nd IMU is not used, even if one is present. It can be disabled (Imu2 Configuration = “off”), or not, it doesn't matter.
